Rusted Root, The Kin take center stage to show how CPR 'rocks'

LITTLE SILVER - The 2007 C.H.A.S.E. for Life "Breathe Easy" Rock Benefit Concert was a huge success as headliner bluegrass rock band Rusted Root, joined by Australian Indie rock duo The Kin, put the spotlight on C.H.A.S.E. for Life's mission of empowering the nation with free infant/child CPR and Choking Maneuver education in a modern, fun and hip way.

C.H.A.S.E. for Life is a New Jersey based, nonprofit organization which stands for CPR-Heimlich-Awareness-Safety-Education and was founded in 2005 by Farley Boyle, a fashion model, mother of three who almost lost her second daughter, Chase, to a near-drowning accident.

Boyle created this "mini-Woodstock" concert where fashion, rock and animation would collide on stage to save children's lives by promoting the organization and bringing awareness to infant/child CPR and Choking Maneuver education.

The benefit concert on Oct. 13 at the Two River Theatre, highlighted C.H.A.S.E. for Life's original animated film, "How To Save A Life," featuring the iconic character Paddy the Penguin, as he gave viewers a backstage pass into CPR by teaching basic lifesaving skills in a colorful, contemporary, easy to remember way. The "How To Save A Life" video is currently being shown on the delivery floors of 14 New Jersey hospitals
where thousands of new families will receive this priceless gift before they leave with their newborns. To view the video online, visit www.chaseforlife.org.

Proceeds from the concert will help fund C.H.A.S.E. for Life's mission to create national awareness programs and continual education efforts. For more information about C.H.A.S.E. for Life, please visit www.chaseforlife.org.
